The expansion of the mandate of the UPLB Interactive Learning Center (ILC) and its Reorganization as the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (UPLB CATL) was approved by the Board of Regents (BOR) at its 1378th Meeting on February 23, 2023. The UPLB CATL seeks to provide more inclusive and dynamic teaching and learning environments at the University that adapt and respond to the changing higher education landscape.

The Center will be integral in achieving the University’s vision as “a future-proof university that promotes leadership in higher education for the betterment of local and global communities” by providing comprehensive pedagogical support services to UPLB constituents and it’s partner institutions.
