NEWS & UPDATES
Just two weeks after successfully implementing its first training seminar for the year, the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) once again opened the doors of its Innovation Laboratory (iLab) to another distinguished visitor. Last February 14, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Agham C. Cuevas visited the newly opened CATL facility.
Dr. Cuevas gave his insights about the iLab and shared his thoughts on how it can be further improved to be at par with similar service facilities of other premiere universities around the globe.
The iLab is one of the direct outputs of the project entitled “International Mobility in the New Normal: Modernizing the iLab as an Innovation Laboratory for Global Education and Digital Citizenship.” It was designed to serve as a venue and common platform for upscaling academic programs offered through open and online learning through the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) platform. This initiative enables state universities and colleges (SUCs) to integrate Internationalization within their home institutions, fostering stronger connections with global partners. These partnerships contribute to the enhancement of content delivery, as well as the contextualization and sharing of substantial theories and application of ideas in the global landscape.
